Mike and Rozita, both from Persian families, grew up surrounded by the art of food and hospitality. Their shared passion began in childhood—Mike in his family's restaurant in Tehran and Rozita in her father’s sandwich shop.

After meeting in Hamburg, Germany, they dreamed of opening a cozy eatery but put the idea aside when they moved to Canada in 1990. Decades later, they reignited their passion and, in November 2022, opened a warm and inviting space where people could enjoy homemade food.
